About Scott

Three decades of rooms.

“The setting changes. The human work rarely does.”

For roughly thirty years, I have worked in classrooms, college labs, hospitals, meeting rooms, and community spaces. Across all of them, I keep returning to the same questions: What is really happening here? Who is not being heard? What would help people move forward together?

My writing explores leadership, belonging, service, family, technology, and the ordinary moments that reveal more than they first appear to.

Permeating presence is one idea within that work: the way steady attention, trust, and participation can quietly change a room over time. It is a lens, not the label for everything.
